Do I need a website to use your shopping cart?

Yes you would need your own website to host your own content.

Basket2go do not provide a webspace/ webpage for you to host your products and online store. We only provides integration functions to your own website to allow your customer to add products (hosted in your website) to Basket2go shopping cart. Basket2go will also provide the integration to third party payment gateways, such as Paypal. This will save you the hassle of implementing your own shopping cart functions and payment gateway.

We believe that this approach allows you to design your online store/website the way, style and complexity you want, without being restricted to a standard set of ecommerce store templates. There are a lot of other content management systems which excel at providing excellent content management features - content input, search engine optimisation, blog, reviews and comments, search functionalities, to name a few. By decoupling the shopping cart and store front integration with the content presentation (product hosting), you will be able to leverage the best of CMS and Basket2go ecommerce functions.
