How much do you charge for setting up a
Basket2Go account?
Free. No setup charge is applied when you signup with us.
How much does the Basket2Go service cost?
£10 per year. Your shopping cart is completely customisable
to match your online shop layout. We offer 14 days moneyback guarantee
on your first registration to ensure you are 100% satisfied.
I do not have a website yet can I sign up?
If you are establishing your domain, or your site is under construction,
you can still open an account with Basket2Go. Many users signup
with Basket2Go to integrate the shopping cart in their online shop
prior to actually being ready to begin selling.
Can I have more than one account with you for
my different online shop?
You can have as many account as you needed. However, we reserse
the rights to terminate any accounts.
Can I use my account to process more than
one online shop?
Yes you can. However, we recommend you to open one account per online
shop so that you can customise your shopping cart to match each
of these web stores. This includes the shipping options, VAT , shopping
cart layout, page title appear on the browser etc.

How to create a payment link to my customer?
Use our Create "Add to Cart" link creator to create Add
to Cart Button, copy the link to your html email or web page.
I want to let my customers to specify the size/colour
of the product, do you provide this feature?
Yes. When you create "Add to Cart" link, you can list
down the product options, such as colour, size etc.
Can I offer different shipping options to my
customers?
Yes. You can select up to four (4) postage and packing methods for
your online shop. You can also specify different rate for each of
the methods selected. We also allow you to offer free shipping to
customers who purchase above certain threshold.
How do I specify the VAT in the shopping cart?
Click the "Account Information" page and specify the VAT.
The default VAT is 0%.
Can I customise the shopping cart so that it
just looks like other pages of my online shop?
Yes, you can customise the Basket2Go shopping cart to match your
site layout. Simply login to your account and select the "Shopping
Cart Layout" link. You need some basic HTML script to program

What if I no longer need the Basket2Go account?
As Basket2Go has no contract to sign, you can terminate your account
whenever you like. No refund will be issued if you decided to cancel
your account after the initial 14 days. Please send an email to
support@basket2go.net
to request refund and account termination.
Accepted Payments
Can I accept credit and debit cards via Basket2Go?
Yes. We use PayPal,
Nochex and
Moneybookers
to process online transactions. After your customer finished his/her
shopping and checkout, he/she will be advanced to the payment gateway
to complete the transaction. See our review

Do I need to have a merchant account to accpet
credit card payment online?
No. With Basket2Go, all online payments are handled by PayPal,
Nochex and
Moneybookers.
Merchant account is provided by your bank after reviewing your past
two years business performance. The reviewing process normally takes
around 8 weeks to complete. For most new and small businesses, it
is very difficult to obtain a merchant account.
How can I get the payment my customers pay me?
Payment gateways will send email notification everytime someone
is paying to your PayPal / Nochex / Moneybookers account. You can
then withdrawn money to your bank account, at anytime, by login
to your PayPal, Nochex or Moneybookers account. For offline payment,
your customer will print out the Offline Payment Form and send it
together with cheque or postal order to your business address.
Do I need to sign up to both Nochex and PayPal?
Which one is better?
In order to accept credit and debit card, you need to subscribe
to at least one of the payment gateways we used. If your target
customers are from the UK only, then Nochex is more than enough.
However, if your customer use a credit or debit card issued from
countries outside the UK, then Nochex cannot process the transaction.
PayPal accpet all major credit and debit cards, but your customer
need to sign up as a PayPal member before they can pay you. Read

Can I accept currency other than Pound Sterling
(GBP)?
Yes. Basket2Go shopping cart can handles six major currencies, such
as USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, JPY and AUD. You can specify your trading
currency in "Business Details" page within the control
panel. However, if you are using Nochex as your payment gateway,
you can only accept GBP, because Nochex is designed for GBP transactions
only.

What happens when someone buys something?
When your customer clicks the "Add to basket" link or
button appears on your online shop, the product will be added to
Basket2Go shopping cart. The customer can then return to your online
shop and add more products to the basket. Once finished shopping
he/she can checkout through payment method(s) you selected when
register and pay for all products in the shopping basket in one
payment.
How can I know what products my customer buy
from my online shop?
All items your customer added to the Basket2Go shopping cart will
be recorded in the PayPal / Nochex / Moneybookers transaction page.
You will receive an email notification from PayPal / Nochex / Moneybookers
about the payment and products your customer bought.
What you collect from my customers?
We only collect products they shop from your online shop (when they
click the "Add to Cart" link). We do not collect personal
information or credit/debit card details from your customer. These
information are collected in the payment gateway by transaction
service provider (i.e. PayPal, Nochex or Moneybookers). Please refer
